Strade Tulipani
A Unique Gravel Ride Through Colorful Bulb Fields
On Saturday, April 27th, Beachbiking Nederland, in collaboration with Kleurrijk Julianadorp, is organizing the 2nd edition of the Strade Tulipani. This gravel/MTB tour offers a unique experience through the largest contiguous bulb-growing area in the world! On your gravel bike or mountain bike, you’ll experience a true feast for the eyes during Kleurrijk Julianadorp.
The bulb fields of Julianadorp have long been known for their exuberant floral splendor. The bulb growers in the Koegras polder open their lands for this tour once a year, giving you a unique opportunity to admire the beautiful flower fields up close. You’ll be amazed by the colorful beauty of this area. After the tour, you can relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery at the afterparty. Our duo Anna and Irma will provide musical entertainment, and you can enjoy a beer or soft drink with a well-deserved hamburger.
Last year, we organized this tour for the first time. With the positive feedback we received, we got to work. For this second edition, we have made some adjustments to the route. It is now a total of 40 km and takes you over the lands of the Koegras polder and then along the gravel paths around Groote Keeten and Callantsoog. A week before the tour, everyone will receive the latest participant information and the route as a GPX file. This file will also be placed on Komoot. The entire route can only be ridden via the GPX file!
